Identity used to secure $2,000 loan: A Timber Ridge Drive resident reported July 8, that her identity was stolen and used by an unknown person(s) to receive a $2,000 loan, from a loan company. The woman told police she received an e-mail on June 17th, from the loan company, stating that money was going to be deposited in her account. The resident believed the notification was spam, according to the report. On July 8th, the resident received a telephone call from the loan company advising her that a payment was past due.
